Why do Celebrities Use Sea Moss Supplements?

TikTok of numerous celebs and influencers has boomed featuring sea moss supplements. The wellness trend was started by Kim Kardashian and became a real hit. You will see today’s football stars and beauty-industry celebs including sea moss in their smoothies.

Let’s get down to what causes the wave of hype around organic Irish moss and whether you should also begin taking it seriously.

What is this seaweed?

Sea moss is a type of Red Algae called Chondurs Crispus and it is incredibly popular for its benefits. It’s a sea vegetable harvested on the rocky bays of North and South America, Japan, the Philippines, and the Caribbean.

Sea moss is highly accessible, and you can even find famous brands like True Sea Moss selling moss products in a diverse selection of forms and tastes, so even your kids will like it.

Why is it so trendy?

The fame of sea moss stems from the number of nutrients it has — which is around 92 — including Iron, potassium, magnesium, vitamins B, E, D, A, C, phosphorus, taurine, and nutrients like carrageenan and collagen.

Besides the benefits of sea moss for health and mood, it is also low-calorie, especially if you buy sea moss products without added sugar.

Why are celebs driven crazy about sea moss?

Shoutout to the mind-blowing diversity of nutrients, sea moss can benefit your life a lot. Here are the key reasons for people with active and holistic lifestyles to eat it.

  • Gives you energy. With a load of Iodine and Iron, sea moss makes you feel super energized. Sea moss allows for an easy wake-up and focus throughout the day.
  • Recovers you faster. Packed with taurine, magnesium, potassium, and fatty acids, sea moss soothes the inflammation in your muscles after workouts, helping you get in good shape way faster.
  • Boosts your immunity. Sea moss is a host for antioxidants and vitamins like C, D, and E — the key promoters of your stronger immunity. Regular use of sea moss makes you resistant to pathogens.
  • Cleans your skin. Many use sea moss for skin as it boosts the production of collagen. Sea moss also provides hydration to your skin and also hair, making them less vulnerable. By strengthening your skin barrier, sea moss can efficiently eliminate acne and pimples.
  • Keeps you motivated. With the help of powerful Omega-3, sea moss helps you fight off depression and apathy, returning self-confidence and desire to go and get. By boosting the production of serotonin — the hormone of happiness — sea moss can naturally uplift your mood, and enhance your sleep and wellbeing.

Sea moss vitamins benefits have been seen to affect everyone in their own way. Sea moss can treat digestion issues, relieve inflammation, and prevent diabetes.

However,  it’s seaweed, some people may be allergic to it and therefore should check up with their physician before starting to use Irish moss.

How to consume sea moss?

The ease of use and adjustability of sea moss is another reason why it is widespread among celebrities. Sea moss doesn’t only suit smoothies and shakes, though. Despite Irish sea moss powder being an incredibly popular option for gym enthusiasts, there is a variety of ways to use it.

  • Sea moss gel is a wondrous addition to your oatmeal, morning coffee, salad dressing, or even toast spread. Flavored sea moss tastes great on its own.
  • Sea moss powder is really good for beverages and cocktails. You can try to add it to a Japanese morning-coffee recipe for digestion: mix butter, black coffee, and a teaspoon of sea moss powder or gel.
  • Sea moss gummies and pills are easy to store, and you can take them with you to your office.
  • Wildcrafted sea moss if previously soaked in the water, can be added as an ingredient to your soup, salad, rice, or even sushi.

You can take sea moss before going to bed to enhance your sleep and ensure an easy wake-up, or take two teaspoons (10 g) in the morning to boost your energy and mood.

Final words

Sea moss earned the favor of TikTok influencers, models, actors, and famous athletes, but in the face of being an “elite” product, sea moss is accessible to everyone. If you’re looking to get a skin of a movie star, fix your metabolism, and start feeling energized, you might consider following the sea moss trend and see where it leads you!

Usher 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Hosted By Radhika Jones - Arrivals

Usher will be the halftime performer for the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show in Las Vegas on Feb. 11, 2024. The eight-time Grammy Award winner headlines the halftime show for the first time in his illustrious career, and it will be seen on CBS and will stream on Paramount+.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” Usher said in a statement. “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”

Usher has had a residency in Las Vegas since 2021. There are no further details about what songs Usher will perform or if any other artists will join him.

Usher has previously appeared on the halftime show as a guest in Super Bowl XLV that The Black Eyed Peas headlined. He told Access Hollywood earlier this year that he’d “be a fool” to turn down the halftime show if offered.

“I think I have a catalog that obviously speaks for itself, so to be able to celebrate on that day, it’s obviously about football, but everybody really anticipates the performance,” Usher said. Seeing Michael Jackson perform and recently seeing Snoop [Dogg] and [Dr.] Dre … seeing so many incredible performances like Prince… it has always been kind of a bucket list.”

Jay-Z handpicked Usher for the performance. Jay-Z’s Roc Nation has executive produced the show since partnering with the NFL in 2019.

“Usher is the ultimate artist and showman. Ever since his debut at the age of 15, he’s been charting his own unique course. Beyond his flawless singing and exceptional choreography, Usher bares his soul,” Jay-Z said in a statement. “His remarkable journey has propelled him to one of the grandest stages in the world. I can’t wait to see the magic.”

The first halftime involving Roc Nation was Super Bowl LIV which featured Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, and Emme Muniz. The Weeknd followed, with Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige headlining the L.A. Super Bowl following the 2021 season. Rihanna performed at halftime of Super Bowl LVII.

Last year’s Super Bowl halftime performance by Rihanna was also the first sponsored by Apple Music.

Gisele Bündchen opens up about contemplating suicide as a young model – Socialite Life

Gisele Bundchen

Gisele Bundchen has admitted that she struggled with her mental health at the height of her modeling career and even contemplated taking her own life.

The Brazilian supermodel, 43, opened up about having suicidal thoughts and feeling panicked during the height of her career on CBS’ Sunday Morning.

“I was in tunnels; I couldn’t breathe. And then, I started being in studios, and I felt, like, suffocated,” she said.

Bündchen recalled one particular moment of difficulty. “I lived on the ninth floor, and I had to go up the stairs because I was afraid I would be stuck on the elevator, and I’d be hyperventilating. … Because you know, when you can’t breathe even when the windows are open, you feel like, ‘I don’t want to live like this,’ ” the model said.

When CBS host Lee Cowan asked if Bündchen ever thought about jumping from her floor, she said, “Yeah. For a second, because you’re like, ‘I can’t (do this)!’”

To cope with the pressure during her earlier career, Bündchen said she started to view herself as “her,” the persona modeling agencies hired, and “Gisele,” her real personality.

“They weren’t hiring Gisele; they didn’t even know me,” she said. “They just liked the way I looked and they liked the way my body looked in clothes. … And now, I get to be me.”

Alcohol, cigarettes and caffeine contributed to her stress at the time, things she eventually reduced or quit.

Bündchen added: “I just think now I’m allowing myself to come out as Gisele versus as ‘her. I don’t have to play a character. I can be me. And that’s liberating.”

Today, the Brazillian model says she’s happy to have taken a backseat from the fashion industry. “Before I was more surviving, and now I’m living, which is different,” she said.

Bündchen previously discussed contemplating suicide and struggling with panic attacks in her 2018 memoir Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life.

“Things can be looking perfect on the outside, but you have no idea what’s really going on,” the supermodel told People in an interview at the time. “I felt like maybe it was time to share some of my vulnerabilities and it made me realize, everything I’ve lived through, I would never change because I think I am who I am because of those experiences.”

If you or someone you know is contemplating suicide, call or text the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
