Ts Madison takes a bite out of reality TV with a new series – Socialite Life

Ts Madison

If you’re hungry for a new favorite show, look no further than Ts Madison Ate That, a new series streaming exclusively on WOW Presents Plus. On this hilarious original series, Ts Madison tries snacks from all over the world. Madison opens mystery boxes filled to the brim with viral food and then must sample them and decide if she likes it – “She ATE” – or doesn’t like it – “She HATE”. From British delicacies, rhubarb and custard boiled sweets to mouth-puckering sour pickle balls, Madison holds nothing back.

We had the chance to chat with Ts Madison about the new series, her favorite foods being a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race and lots more. Want to know the best piece of advice she’s been given or the super mutant she’d like to be? Find out as she answers the Socialite Seven in our exclusive interview.

What was the inspiration for Ts Madison Ate That?

The inspiration for [the show] came from a video that I did on Instagram where I reviewed Wonder Eggs. I wanted to give my unadulterated opinion about it because I had seen people eating them before, like Tabitha Brown, and I said, “I’m gonna give my honest opinion about this.” I’m tired of everybody being paid to give these reviews so let me see what is really given. So I’m gonna be honest with my followers. I think that the people at World of Wonder were watching, and they said, “Oh, I wanna try these eggs too!” And that’s how it happened.

What was your favorite thing to eat?

My favorite thing was those rhubarb candies.

What was your least favorite thing to eat?

My least favorite thing was the sour pickle balls. And I’m usually a girl that likes her balls a little bit sour, honey. Because that’s just the way that you come from the gym. But those sour balls to eat? I bind it up in the name of Jesus!

Did anything you tried on the show surprise you (like something you didn’t think you’d like that was great, or something you thought would be good that was terrible)?

The biggest surprise was the Jonas Brothers’ popcorn. The Jonas Brothers’ popcorn was supposed to give, but they didn’t give, but they did give. I was in a bit of a conundrum because I was like, “Now, I’m not supposed to be tasting this flavor…Oh, it’s hidden…well, it’s not, but it is.” I was in a bit of a pickle, but we got through and it actually became one of my favorites.

If you were able to teleport to any place to dine, where would you go and what would be your dream meal?

I’m a girl that has traveled the world. I’ve been all over the place. I actually have had the opportunity to eat Italian food in Italy. It was lovely, but maybe I’m used to American Italian food because I wasn’t completely impressed. I don’t think I got to the right spot. So, my dream is to return to Italy, go to a very small town, and enjoy the real delicacy and the real tasting of spaghetti.

Is it easier to judge food than drag queens?

Yes, it is most definitely easier for me to judge food than drag queens. However, I am most definitely the same amount of meticulous as I am on the drag queens. Overall, I’m searching for the next superstar, whether that be a good thing to eat or a good queen.

How has your experience working within the RuPaul’s Drag Race universe been for you?

I’m amazed at the way that a lot of these queens start and then the way they finish. I’ve had the opportunity of working from episode one and then returning to my seat later in the season. Some of the girls are still there and I’ve watched them grow from episode one to episode six and I’m like, “Oh, the determination is real!” To see so many stars burst out of RuPaul’s Drag Race is an amazing thing.

You’ve achieved a lot in your career. Is there something you haven’t done yet that you’d like to?

I haven’t landed the major role that I want. I’ve acted, I’ve been in lots of movies. But I want to land the role of Audrey 2 in a remake of Little Shop of Horrors. I’m putting that out in the universe because if I can have the opportunity to give the girls Audrey 2, oh my God. It would be the performance of a lifetime.

Ts Madison Answers the Socialite Seven

Who has been your biggest influence?

Who would you love to work with?

I’d like to work with Madonna, I want to work with Beyoncé again, I want to work with Rihanna…everybody actually, all the superstars. I want to work with everybody.

What’s your biggest pet peeve?

Being late. I’m really not into the late thing because I just feel like it just throws everything off. My mood changes, I don’t like it.

What three things can you not live without?

Food, money and a man!

Who would play you in the movie of your life?

There’s no one else that could play me but me. Nobody else could do it justice. Nobody.

If you could wake up with a talent or superpower you don’t already possess, what would that be?

I’d like to reword that! If I could wake up as a super mutant, I would definitely wake up as a Mystique. I already possess so many different superpowers but I’d like to experience all of them. Mystique, she can morph into anybody and anything. She is truly all powerful.

What’s the best advice you’ve been given?

RuPaul told me, “Ts Madison, don’t you ever be too big for the little things because the little things will get you through when the big things aren’t happening.” There were times when I was waiting on the big things to happen, and they weren’t. But guess what? The little things were happening, and the little things grew me into the big things.

Jill Duggar: If It Weren’t For Therapy and My Husband, I Would Still Be In Jim Bob’s Cult

Joy-Anna Duggar & Austin Forsyth: We Were NEVER Members of Jim Bob's Weird Cult!

Against all odds, Jill Duggar escaped her abusive upbringing to find genuine happiness and fulfillment as an adult.

But it wasn’t easy for the 32-year-old mother of three to get to this point.

Breaking free from an abusive family situation is hard enough, but Jill had to liberate herself from an entire community of neighbors and fellow parishioners who shared her parents’ bizarre views.

Earlier this month, Jill published a memoir in which she shared new revelations about her difficult childhood and her long fight for a better life.

And she says she couldn’t have done it without the help of a loving husband and a devoted therapist.

“I am so grateful for my husband, Derick, because without him, I feel like it would have been just a much, much harder battle to fight and to work through and process,” Jill told Fox News this week (via Yahoo! News).

She went on to explain that while she is no longer a member of her parents’ cult, she’s still devoted to her faith.

“I knew that I could trust the Bible and I knew that Jesus was my Lord and Savior,” Jill said.

“And from there just it was a matter of really disentangling my faith,” she continued.

“I didn’t just want to, like, throw my faith away. I really wanted to sort things out. And I knew there was truth to some of what I had been taught as a child, but the viewpoint, the perspective, was different.”

Jill recalls that she initially struggled to reconcile her desire for freedom with her devotion to her faith.

She says the commandment to “honor thy father and thy mother” gave her pause for obvious reasons.

“Because I was a big people pleaser, I had to really figure out, ‘What does that mean?’” Jill told Fox News.

“Does that actually mean that you have to obey your father and mother the entire rest of your life, or that you have to seek their blessing on every major life event?”

Jill says there was a time when it was difficult for her to practice her faith, as she had “so many triggers” related to the Bible as a result of her ultra-religious upbringing.

“There were triggers that I didn’t even realize that I had,” she said, explaining that she was especially troubled by the Book of Proverbs, as it had long been her father’s favorite.

“At one point it was also hard for me to call God my father because of my relationship with my own father,” said Jill.

Thankfully, she was able to address some of these issues with the help of a therapist.

“And I was able to use therapy to realize that and recognize that. But there were definitely hard points for me with things like that.”

Jill says she channeled all of these experiences into her book in the hope that by doing so, she might be able to help other survivors.

“I felt called to write this book and just to be a voice for the voiceless, to also give hope to other people who have either found their voice or are on that journey to finding your voice and just be their champion and their advocate.” she said.

Jill seems to have done exactly that, as hundreds of women who were similarly victimized by cult leaders have posted rave reviews about the book.

We’re sure Jill will be dealing with the trauma of her childhood for the rest of her life.

But the beauty of her situation is that she’s managed to turn darkness into light in a way that’s inspired so many others.

bitchy | A handheld vacuum, an affordable body cream and lightweight sunscreen

bitchy | A handheld vacuum, an affordable body cream and lightweight sunscreen

From Rosie: I have one of these silicon Groove rings in lilac/pink that I wear when I work out, hike, do housework, etc. It’s really comfortable and my finger doesn’t get stuck in it when it’s swelling up. There are 13 different color options overall. Reviewers also find it practical and comfortable. “My fingers swell when I work out and this ring flexes in size with me. I work in healthcare and wash my hands constantly and the ring holds up perfectly!” “I primarily bought the ring to wear when running and working out. However, I find I wear it much more frequently. I live in an area where it gets very hot and my hands swell in the heat. The ring is great as there is a bit of stretch to the silicon so it never gets too tight or gets stuck.” Here are some of the other things that CB and I are looking at on Amazon this week.

An oil-free sunscreen for sensitive skin
1695355409 930 bitchy A handheld vacuum an affordable body cream and
From Rosie: All of the talk about using sunscreen yesterday got me thinking about investing in a good sunscreen for sensitive skin. EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46 popped up at the top of several lists I found. It’s an oil-free, fragrance-free sunscreen with Zinc Oxide that dermatologists recommend for those with acne prone skin care concerns. Right now, it’s on sale for 15% off. It has a 4.7 star rating, more than 38,500 reviews, and a B on Fakespot. Reviewers rave about how good it is for acne-prone and sensitive skin. “So awesome for acne prone skin and not too greasy.” “Sits lightly on my skin, not greasy, great sun protection and doesn’t bother my sensitive skin or sting my eyes.” “It’s expensive but worth it if, like me, every other sunscreen makes you break out in rash or pimples. A small amount goes a long way and is completely sheer with no residue. One pump from the applicator is exactly enough for the face and neck.”

A lightweight, cordless vacuum to help keep your car clean
1695355409 106 bitchy A handheld vacuum an affordable body cream and
From Rosie: This handheld cordless vacuum is great for keeping your car clean or doing quick clean-up jobs in your home. It’s normally $70, but is currently on sale for $50 with an additional 25% off at checkout. It has a 4.6 star rating, almost 200 reviews, and an A on Fakespot. People like how it’s lightweight and easy to use. “Awesome hand vac! I was very pleasantly surprised by how light it was and easy to grip and maneuver. This vac has strong suction, easy to empty and useful attachments.” “Recently purchased this portable car vacuum and it’s been a game-changer for keeping my car clean. Small which makes it easy to store and use, and the power is surprisingly strong for its size.”

A portable table that’s perfect for camping or tailgating
1695355410 58 bitchy A handheld vacuum an affordable body cream and
From Rosie: This portable folding table comes with a storage bag, making it easy to tote around for camping, tailgating, hiking, a day at the beach, and other outdoor activities. At 28.7 x 24.4 inches, it’s a good size too. There’s two levels for both food and storage and four cup holders. Right now, it’s on sale for $5 off. It has a 4.8 star rating, more than 450 reviews, and an A on Fakespot. People love how sturdy and convenient it is. “We love our table. We carry it to outside events where chairs are allowed (concerts), picnics, camping, beach trips, just to name a few. The top layer is sturdy and holds tight.” “Perfect for tailgating. Easy to assemble. Like the travel bag for easy storage and transition.”

An affordable body cream with shea butter you’ll want to use every day
1695355410 419 bitchy A handheld vacuum an affordable body cream and
From CB: I needed a new body cream that had no animal products as I’m allergic to glycerin. I got this Palmer’s cocoa butter and was surprised at how moisturizing it was and how much you get for the very affordable price. I had razor burn yesterday and I swear it made it less itchy. Palmer’s has a light pleasant smell and makes my skin so soft. This listing has 4.8 stars, over 31,000 ratings and a B on Fakespot. People say it’s so soft, that it’s safe for sensitive skin and that they’ve been using it for years. “I don’t know how I went so many years without knowing about Palmer’s Cocoa Butter, but I am now a fan for life! The scent is wonderful! It’s rich and soothing without being overpowering. Does a great job of moisturizing, and does not irritate sensitive skin.” “Palmers cocoa butter is ELITE, I don’t care what anyone says. This is one of the BEST lotions on the market and has solved so many of my minor skin issues like dryness, rough patches, bumpy skin, etc. Not to mention, it truly does hydrate my skin for the entire day.”

A magnetic pen and notepad holder to streamline your office or kitchen
1695355410 886 bitchy A handheld vacuum an affordable body cream and
From CB: I bought this magnetic pen and notepad holder to clean up the pens on my counter next to the refrigerator. It holds a lot and my counter looks so much neater. This comes in five different finishes and there are magnetic clips, magnets and a pencil cup in this listing. They have over 1,900 ratings, 4.8 stars and an A on Fakespot. People say the magnets are strong and that it holds a lot for its size. “The first thing I noticed was the large flat magnet on the back. Wow, what a surprise. Unlike so may frig items that are supposed to support themselves with a magnet, this one is so strong it will never slide down the side of the frig, due to a wimpy magnet.” “This item is not only exactly as it appears, it’s better. It comes with one memo pad and an eraserless pre-sharpened pencil. It’s heavier than I expected, and looks better in person than depicted in the picture. It has a very strong magnet covering nearly the entire back surface, and there is no chance of it falling, now filled with a pair of scissors, a few pens and/or pencils, and a lot of paper.”

A Japanese soap bar that fades dark spots
1695355410 422 bitchy A handheld vacuum an affordable body cream and
From CB: This Japanese soap bar by Valitic is formulated with kojic acid, vitamin c and retinol to fade and reduce dark spots and pigmentation. It can be used on your face, hands and body. This listing has over 11,600 ratings, 4.1 stars and the same score on ReviewMeta. It’s affordable at two bars for $15 and reviewers say it really works. “After using it for three months and it sure work wonders. My arms had acne all over them and by using it for a while there’s nothing anymore you can’t even see any marks. I use it on my face and neck as well and it has totally made them brighter.” “I’m very satisfied for one with how quick it came and how well it works. It’s supposed to get rid of dark spots and I started seeing results on just day 5.”

A set of little potted artificial plants to spruce up your space
1695355410 493 bitchy A handheld vacuum an affordable body cream and
From CB: I’ve been gradually switching to artificial plants for ease of upkeep. You can get a set of four to six artificial plants in little plastic pots for $10 to $19, depending on the variety. These have over 3,800 ratings, 4.5 stars and the same score on ReviewMeta. Reviewers are surprised at how nice and high quality they are for the price. “As soon as I really looked at these little fake potted plants, I was impressed. They are beautiful and well made. They even have little rocks glued inside the plastic pots to give the potted plant a bit of weight. They are the perfect size for finishing off a small vignette.” “I love these! They are so cute and look like real plants. They look great in small areas or to fill in space on a mantle, shelf or table.”

The Week in Drag – Bob critiques her audition tape, Ongina and Willam talk shoes, the return of Crystal Methyd and more – Socialite Life

Drag Race Italy

Hello, hello, hello! Welcome to a Labor Day weekend edition of your weekly wrap-up of all things Drag Race!

This week, we check in with some of your favorites, so before you hit the beach, head to a cookout or do whatever you’re doing this long weekend, get the latest scoop. We’ve got lots of charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent waiting for you, so let’s bring it to the runway!

OG queen Ongina shows Willam around her drag den (and shows off some amazing shoes) on “Lifestyles of the Bitch & the Gaymous.”

Bob deserved her season 8 win, but if she had competed on season 7, we may have had a different outcome. Watch as she honestly (and hilariously) reviews her season 7 audition tape for Drag Race. Honestly, her looks may have been a little crunchy, but her incredible sense of humor really shone through.

On the latest “Sibling Watchery,” Bob and Monét chat with Brennan Lee Mulligan about their experience on Dungeons and Drag Queens.

Australia, Mexico and Brazil’s Drag Race franchises are airing right now, but in case you need more international drag, World of Wonder has you covered. The third season of Drag Race Italia will premiere October 13th exclusively on WOW Presents Plus. Singer Paola Iezzi and The White Lotus actor Paolo Camilli will be joining actress Chiara Francini and drag queen Priscilla – also serving as host of the show – for this highly anticipated season.

Trixie and Katya review the pop cultural juggernaut that is the Barbie movie in this clip from their podcast, “The Bald & The Beautiful”.

We have missed Crystal Methyd (she’s been busy), but now she’s back after a 2-year YouTube absence with a makeup video. Watch as she creates an artistic look inspired by a wild sock design.

Maddy Morphosis welcomes season 15 sensation Irene Dubois (who was eliminated waaaay too early) on the latest “Give It to Me Straight.”

Trixie kikis with drag queen/Twitch streamer/makeup expert Deere.

Jaymes Mansfield is creating again, and we couldn’t be happier. She is making life-sized recreations of iconic Barbie fashions in her new series. She makes Barbie’s beautiful black, mermaid-tailed, solo spotlight dress.

Last week, I posted the first part of a two-part episode of “The Bald and the Beautiful” featuring Katya and Courtney Act. I couldn’t leave you hanging so here’s part 2.

Trixie and Kayta talk about straight people again on the latest “UNHhhh” (and, speaking as a straight person myself, they aren’t wrong with their observations.)

Before we part ways, if you want to spread some love this holiday weekend, consider supporting drag legend Coco Peru. Her beloved mother, Helen, needs financial aid to be able to stay in her home. You can lend support through this GoFundMe.

And…that’s it for this week. Enjoy the holiday and until next week, stay safe, stay healthy, support the queens and Say LOVE!
